Love food and travel? We do too. That’s why the Foodspotting team has been working hard to give our users the chance to win amazing culinary getaways to places like Ireland and Hawaii, with more destinations to come. Not using Foodspotting yet? It’s easy. Sign up on our site and download our free app.
And if you’re still not convinced why you should join our community of food explorers, then check out the envy-inducing Q&A with two foodspotters who spotted their way to their dream food holidays…
Tell us in the comments - where is your ultimate dining destination?
Our Mobspotting eat-ups are happening in New York, San Francisco, Atlanta and DC tonight. Here’s a peek at our NYC event at Tree Bistro; we’re filling up the whole back patio!

From our Head of Community, amyblogschow:
Sometimes I think about what I do - my job - and I’m left scratching my head wondering how I ever got so lucky. Despite what they tell you in school and what people might tell you throughout your life (that you can’t and that bills have to be paid and that you don’t live in the real world and as an adult you have responsibilities…) you have to remember a dream job is not only possible, but it’s out there. You may not get there today or even next month, but as long as one foot steps in front of the other everyday, eventually you’ll run head-on into something great.
To see what I’m working on, you may want to download the free Foodspotting app. My team and I get back aches from hunching over our laptops working on building our app, our site, and our community everyday. But we love it. We’re gonna make Foodspotting the easiest and most fun way to discover and share good food around you. Not bad for a day job, I think.
We love Chef Mario Batali and are thrilled that he’s joined us on Foodspotting! He has also put together his top recommendations in San Francisco, New York and Italy. Each guide outlines hidden gems and is filled with wonderful details about why he loves certain dishes. Plus, he tells you which ones are can’t-miss.
Help us give Mario Batali a huge welcome, and follow his guides here: http://www.foodspotting.com/mariobatali
“I love how there are four dessert courses which is more than any other course on the menu.” - Foodspotter Emily Cavalier at the Foodspotting party hosted by MINI Countryman “Wanderlust”
“He just smiled and gave me a Vegemite sandwich…”
Our co-founder and leading business lady Soraya is traveling for work and fun in Australia! Plus, our Head of Outreach Fiona is a native Sydneysider, so we’re feeling extra nostalgic for the Land Down Under this week…
If you’re in Sydney next Tuesday, 3 May, please join Soraya at our first-ever Australia Foodspotting eat-up at Harry’s Café de Wheels for their famous “Tiger” pie. RSVP on the Foodspotting Meetup page!
