Meng's Playground: Pizza After Dark at Pulino's

rhymeswithtongue:

Party

You learn something new every day. Exactly one year ago on Friday October 1, 2010, I learned:

Fashionable Spottertunity

Tomorrow in New York, Fashion’s Night Out will take over clothing shops and city blocks for one great shopping party. While sales and celebrities will distract the masses, it’s the food we’re most excited about. Racked has an excellent guide to FNO 2010’s Top Ten Eats, but we’re gonna make it even easier for you. Take heed: BBQ and ice cream.

Accessory queen Tory Burch will be hosting a Shake Shack barbecue outside her Meatpacking District store (38 Little West 12th St). And in Soho, our friends Guerrilla Ice Cream are collaborating with designers Shipley and Halmos to bring you an NYC-themed flavor called “Amalgamated” made with Brooklyn Brewery’s Brown Ale, raw buckwheat honey, and topped with roasted chestnuts and apple chips. Find their silver ice cream cart in Odin (199 Lafayette St) between 6-11PM. Don’t forget to mention how much you loved Guerrilla co-owner Ethan in my Stupidly Simple Snacks video!

Your resident food blogger,

Amy
